The Acts 2 church should be our model for the modern church. Sure, it doesn’t give us instructions on how to properly set up a board or what committees are necessary to smoothly operate a church of 200, but it gives us all of the essentials of the church.
Acts 2 shows us six essential elements that every church should have. Not every church is necessarily going to have these spread out equally – some churches may be stronger in worship while others are stronger in evangelism for instance. Nevertheless, if one of these elements are lacking or even non-existent, the church is going to suffer.
